I purchased a 1 kW inverter. During installation, a short circuit occurred. The inverter went into fault mode. I thought there was a fuse that I could change to resolve the issue. That's what the description says, that it has protection against short circuits and reverse polarity. I opened it up and found only 3 fuses inside, none of which were blown. So it does not have protection against short circuits and reverse polarity. I discussed the situation with the support team from Vevor, and they kindly sent me another new inverter for free. I installed it and it works very well. I tested it with a 40-watt TV and a few chargers, a phone, and an electric screwdriver. The fan did not start. To see the maximum capacity, I also tested it with a 750w coffee maker. It worked fine, but the fan started. Then I tested it with a 1 kW heater. The heater worked well, but the inverter's fan started, quite noisily. It is not very quiet. But I won't use the inverter at maximum capacity, so I don't think the fan will start too often. The remote control is very useful. I tried it from more than 10 meters away, outside the caravan. The inverter started immediately. This remote control is exceptional; I haven't seen inverters with remote control before. Overall, the inverter works very well, quality materials, but it does not have 6 protections as stated in the description, only 3. The connection cables are short; you need to place the inverter next to the battery. Maybe if they were 0.75 m or 1 m long, it would have been better.

The invertor is perfect for my use and great quality for the price. However I doubt that I will use Vevor again if they keep using GLS as currier. To make a long story short I ended up with a two hours drive and three days delay to get my invertor. Had to drive to Blarney to pick it up myself and got delayed two days in a job. So never ever will I get delivery's by GLS.

Mein Samsung 70 Zoll Fernseher funktioniert sehr gut. Leistung ist genug auch für mein Staubsauger 1000 Watt das einzige ist das es zieht fast 2 amper in stillstand wann kein Verbraucher angeschlossen ist, aber mit ein Schalter geht alles.

Hi! Where are the 40 A fuses supposed to go? On the AC-output or on the DC-input side? If my calculations are right, for 2000 W, at 12 V I would need a 2000/12 = 167 A fuse on the DC-input side, while at 230 V I would need a 2000/230 = 9 A fuse on the AC-output side. Related question: what gauge are the wires? Thanks!
