I have used other methods to sharpen drill bits during my 37 years as a Mechanical Fitter, none can match this machine. I sharpened a badly worn 8mm cobalt drill bit in less than a minute. It drilled through 3mm mild steel in 9 seconds. A new factory sharpened 8mm bit took 13 seconds. After drilling 64 holes through 5mm mild steel plate with the used 8mm bit I tested it again and it drilled through 3mm mild steel in 14 seconds. This tool is well made and feels like it will more than stand up to the rigors of a fitters workshop. It's not cheap, but it is worth every penny.
